Why Side Sleepers Run Hotter

When you sleep on your side, your shoulder and neck compress against the pillow, trapping warm air in a pocket between your face and the mattress.

    Keeps cool within reason

    A great pillow for keeping cool. Obviously, it doesn’t fully prevent night sweats but the pillow is definitely cooler than any other pillow I have used. Only had for a week and so it might be that over time the body temperature adjusts and its full effect is yet to be experienced. Quite a high and wider pillow - probably more suited to bigger, broader people as it’s quite a high pillow in comparison to the adjustable pillow. I prefer the adjustable pillow by Groove at full height and I bought a cooling pillow case for it - this works best for me.

    I’m 5’7 and 80kg and probably quite big headed 🤣 which I’m sure has a bearing when it comes to adopting the correct posture at night time. The posture may also assist in reducing night sweats (uncertain) however, my night sweats have reduced with both types of Groove pillow. Definitely worth trying - as I am happy with mine.

    It does what it says

    This is my second Groove pillow. I have cervical stenosis and would frequently wake up in the night with very painful headaches and my neck would be stiff. Once I got used to this pillow the headaches stopped and the stiffness slowly went away too. I bought this 2nd pillow with the cool cover because I get very hot during the night, it has made quite a difference, whilst still enjoying the already mentioned benefits

    I love the groove!

    I had the original groove pillow for about 5/6 years and with my own doing, as it came travelling with me, it was time to replace it. So I tried the air cooling pillow which was great for it's intended use however for me personally it wasn't firm enough so I reached out in hopes I could get an exchange. Dejan was incredibly helpful and So quick in responding. With a perfect customer service experience I was able to send back the air and get the New adjustabe groove. And I love it! I sent pics of tracking and lovely Dejan sent out my new pillow within 2 days!! Such wonderful service!

    The ability to adjust the pillow is fantastic and my body feels just right again! I shout about groove to anyone who will listen and suffers from neck/ back pain. It just makes sense! Also that the cheap knock-offs are Not worth the few pennies you may save. Invest in the real thing and it will sort you out and last!

    Enjoyable sleep

    The quality of my sleep has improved a lot with the new pillow. It did take me a week of getting used to it as my neck was in a completely different position to how I have slept for the past 30 years. After that though the aches and back pains I had have disappeared so when asked for a review I felt compelled to say that the pillow is very very good.

    My wife got the original which I tried and didn't like as it made my face sweat so this pillow was the right choice as the air cooling kept my face at the right temperature.
