Our cooling blankets have a Q-max rating of 0.38, indicating a high cool-touch performance designed to enhance comfort.

Q-max is a measure of how cool a fabric feels on first contact with your skin. The higher the Q-max value, the faster heat moves away from your body, creating a cool-to-the-touch sensation for immediate comfort.

How thick is it?

With a lightweight filling, it is cooler and lighter than a standard 4.5 tog summer duvet, offering a warmth level comparable to an ultra-light 1–2 tog duvet, making it ideal for warmer sleepers.

What size do I need?

A suprising find
I bought the knee cushion from Groove and was subsequently sent an email for the cooling blanket. I bought it after the first heat wave and thought that the price was good enough to risk buying. I am just through the menopause, but don't suffer hot sweats, in fact I need to be wrapped up warm to sleep. But I wake early hours every night. After waking one night I realised I was warm and pulled on the blanket and wondered if it would cool me down. That was the last thing I could remember. So I now use the cooling blanket if I wake in the night ...and my sleep has really improved - so I'm very glad I took the risk.

These cooling blankets work!
I have bought other products from Groove (namely the pillows which are amazing) so I trust them as a company so I decided we should try the cooling blankets and they have been great now that the UK summers get so much warmer.
Often, its nice to have the comfort and weight of a blanket when sleeping but the normal blankets are too hot so these do the trick. We sometimes use as an under blanket for cooling. Have washed them and no issue. Very impressed with Groove.

Love it!
This year instead of getting the summer duvet down I bought this… it’s wonderful … cool to the touch and brilliant to cover you without getting hot. Much better than the summer duvet. It looks nice on the bed too.
I’m very pleased as I am with my pillows.
